The stats program I use for this site lets me know how peole arrive; a few use the wiredjester.co.uk URL, which is nice, because it means they’re people who actually wanted to come and read the site, but a lot arrive through Google. Looking through the terms they use really makes me think that perhapsContinue reading “Arrivals Desk: Helping Out Those Who Just Got Off The Google Express”

Email issues
For some reason, my alex [at] thewiredjester.co.uk e-mail address has stopped forwarding my email on. It’s all just disappearing into a big black server hole somewhere… So if you want to get in touch, leave a comment, or drop me a line at alexwatson117 [at] hotmail.com. Thanks 🙂
Technorati
Playing around with Technorati at the moment, trying to claim this blog, and quick claim isn’t working. So I need to link to my profile: Technorati Profile

Happy Birthday Me 🙂 Thanks to everyone who remembered, my phone has been buzzing all day with text messages (cards are SO passe!)

Bandwidth
Sorry if you were unable to see the site yesterday – the Boing Boing post brought a flood of visitors, so I exceeded my monthly bandwidth usage allowance. Bought some more, so the Jester should be ok now.
Behind the scenes
Perhaps it’s time for some more background information on this blog, since it’s been rolling for a couple of weeks now, and the initial explanation got a little off the point. Ahem. So here we are: I suppose I see this place as having two functions – one, as a place to put all myContinue reading “Behind the scenes”
World-wide web
Like Ronseal, it appears the World Wide Web does exactly what it says on the tin. Have added a statistics/tracking element to the site, which gives me some great feedback. Including that the site has had people from Russia and the UAE visiting, which is neat 🙂
All licensed, all welcome
Hello! Welcome to my weblog, The Wired Jester. TWJ – almost the same acronym as the Wall Street Journal, so hopefully that will confer some authority. Or maybe not. No, the name was mainly chosen becuase I do like Jesters and Fools. The most famous Fool is the strange and melancholy one in Shakespeare’s KingContinue reading “All licensed, all welcome”
